Alan Feng graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China and the University of Southampton, UK, majoring in microelectronics. Before founding NextVPU, he established and led a global R&D team of 100+ people in AMD, led and participated in the design of over 50 types of CPU and GPU chips with tens of millions shipment, mainly used in many products, including Microsoft Xbox One, Sony PlayStation 4, server, desktop, laptop, aircraft airborne computer, etc.
Zhou Ji graduated from Zhejiang University and acquired his PhD degree in the state key laboratory of CAD, majoring in 3D image reconstruction. He used to be the chief architect in AMD's computer vision, image signal processing and video fields and was responsible for algorithm and architecture
